Endless Cycle - Final

 

Storyboard for final project

 

The idea behind this project is to show the feeling of being isolated and 'trapped'. It seems as if we all know this feeling all too well now. I plan on projection mapping onto three separate squares with a looping video of myself walking between each square with no "escape". The video will add to the feeling of being 'trapped' inside a spatial area.

So for the tutorial, I did two things - I learned a little bit more about Heavy M and how to create masks for projection mapping, and I also followed a tutorial for this growing 3d text tunnel. My project won't be for good times press but rather a project having to do with isolation.

Writing the script and coming up with ideas

 Here is a little into the process of the sound recordings as well as my thought process while brainstorming ideas.

Car dries by wind turbines - wind turbine is surrounded in rolling hills with farm animals - and starts shootin’ out some smoke - in the smoke says wind energy offsets the equivalent of 20 millon cars --- the smoke dissipates revealing a solar farm that has tomatoes and peppers -

I will be adding more to my previous project this time using effects regarding water pollution from coal factories.
 

project 3/4 progress

 Hey all here is my progress on my 3|4 project. I've still got quite a bit to do but i've got a good plan for it. I've found someone from 02 EMC (a solar panel tech company) who is an app state alumni with a masters in sustainable tech. He will be narrating the video. He's helped me a lot with the logistics and graphs that will become a later part of the video. I have the script written out I just need him to record the audio for it to place over the music.
